Foreign Ministry follows up on bus collision incident in Egypt

Amman, July 5 (Petra)– The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates’ operations center said that its personnel are following up on an incident in Egypt’s Sharm El Sheikh area, which involved Jordanians.

The incident took place when a bus carrying a number of Jordanians collided with a truck in the area, the ministry’s spokesperson Sufian Qudah said.

He added that the Jordanian ambassador in Cairo entrusted a number of diplomats to depart to Sharm El Sheikh, after a Palestinian citizen, who holds a temporary Jordanian passport was killed, and five Jordanians were injured in the accident.
